Fox and Kaliburn travel down into the bowels of the city in search of the stone, and bump into things that are best left alone. Meanwhile above ground, the wolves have arrived, and a reunion is being planned that doesn't bode at all well for those concerned...

It's an extension of chapter 73, but at 4000 words it's possibly a little too long (and it still isn't completed yet).

The chapter following it (Chapter 75) will be the last interlude with Fox and Hillary so expect some action in its conclusion...

It's (yet) another interlude with Fox and Kaliburn, but I've had to split it into two posts as it started ballooning out of control. The final part of the interlude (chapter 74) will be spliced together with the previous one when it's finished. I don't like the idea of splitting chapters (nevermind the very short chapters - typically 1000-2000 words - that writing for a blog forces you to do)

Also, had an email from Ambrose who runs New Writing International writing to let me know that my interview is online on various websites. So I'll pop the link (as soon as I get it) in the news section of the website.
